Delivered these along with the cake yesterday, and the kids loved them!
Hunger Games inspired cupcakes!
Vanilla cake, swirled red, orange, and yellow for fire, with dulce de leche bavarian cream filling. The ones with the white roses are inspired by President Snow from the third book. It has chocolate frosting, and with the bavarian filling, it creates a Bostom Cream cupcake. The cupcakes with black marble fondant, arrow, and leaf, as well as a ‘District 12’ symbol are inspired by the first book, and are frosted with an Italian Meringue Buttercream. Then we have the Catching Fire inspired cupcake. The cake itself is still the red, orange, and yellow vanilla swirl cake with the bavarian filling. On top is a three-layered frosting. The red is cherry flavored buttercream, then orange creamsicle flavored buttercream, and then a dollop of lemon buttercream. It is garnished with an edible arrow, and picture of the mockingjay symbol!
